hi guy's & girls, i'm a newbie tothis place (& audi's) so please be gentle lol.

right straight to the point.

my car is an A4 (b5 engine) which i've had for a few weeks & now it's developed a fault where by it won't idle/tick over,

what i mean is when you start the car (hot or cold) it cuts out as it won't idle at all & it does it when you are slowing down for a junction.

i had the same type of problem with a bmw e30 325i & it turned out to be the idle control valve & i was wondering if that was what has gone wrong with the A4??

so can any body help me out? if so a few pictures of what to look for (the idle valve) & where it is.
