Hi!
i've got a 2006 A6 4.2, which is my first car that uses primarily synthetic oil.

I only drive it about half the year (during the summer i ride a motorcycle), so i only put about 5000 miles a year on the car.

My question is - with synthetic oil, what is a recommended timeframe for getting my oil changed? My MMI says 7000 miles or 23 days, which seems 'off' a bit.

Just wondering if synthetics degrade the same way as non-traditional (ie- 3 month oil changes?)
