Default Jerk In acceleration

Hi, just had a few questions if anybody can help.

Firstly, every time I accelerate from 0mph or 1st gear, there is a small jerk. This doesn't happen at any other time, only when the car is starting from a stopped position.

Secondly, i bought a blank remote key that matches my current A4 Fob. Where can i get it cut and programmed in NJ? No dealerships offer key cutting.

Thanks.

Hi there.
I can't help you with the jerk, but you might want to try calling a few local locksmiths. I know there is one in my area ( Pittsburgh ) who charges around $60 for the first key, then $5 to $10 for extras.

The problem might be with the clutch but not sure enough. Does the check engine light flashes due to this problem? If so then, the issue might be with the engine or fuel delivery.

I had the herky jerky issue too in 2006 audi a6 FWD. I bought it used and noticed it during the test drive. Got them to knock some off the sticker and took it to a independent shop. They said it was a common issue they've seen. Most likely the throttle body getting dirty. Since i was nearing a transmission fluid change. They change 5 quarts of my transmission fluid and cleaned my throttle body for free. Cost was 130 bucks. Runs smooth now.

My check engine was never on and the car never recorded an error.

Tranny flush helped. It's mainly the throttle body they said. The carbon build up. Plus on mine it's only doing it when it's cold. It is annoying and can't figure it out. Based on everyone's comment on other forums its the carbon build up on the throttle

I just added some transmission additive and changed my
Fuel Filter and it helped alot. Not sure which one but I might do a whole flush soon

Is this a manual transmission car or a automatic? If it's a manual it could be engine/transmission mounts. The snub mount can also cause unwanted engine movement.

Mines auto. Still doing the buck when cold and sometimes when hot. Also, when I stop sometimes it kicks. Almost like slack in a bike chain locks up.
