Hi,

Apologies if this is somewhere - I have searched! Ive just got a 3.0 TDI. The power seats are only working intermittently both sides. Any ideas why this is the case. I supect the fuses are fine and the switches do work. Is there an independent battery that may need charging.??

Also I don't have the owners manual - I understand this comes on CD. Any ideas where I could get one on the net???

They might need to have basic setting performed. Try the simplest method. Make the seat back go as far forward as possible. This will require letting go of the button and pressing it several times. Once that is done, try to recline it the same way (move the seat forward first) as far as it will go. See if anything changes.
