Smile Looking for H4 HID option on a 1990 Audi 90 Quattro 20V

Hello to all:

I have a 1990 Audi 90 Quattro 20V with European H4 headlights, high output Osram 90/130W light bulbs. However, I would like to upgrade to HID, aftermarket of course. Any good suggestions to what brand, vendors and so forth? There are lots of those H4 low beam only HID conversion kits out on eBay but many of those are quite frankly "crap". I perfer H4 HID with High/Lo option, or is that what they call Bi-Xenon these days. Colour temperature wise, I perfer the 4300K to 5000K range, just want maximum light output and care less about how it looks "cool". Thanks for any help!

http://www.vvme.com/ has what you need. Its based in china so shipping may take a little while but the price is definately right.
Just select your H4 bulb when selecting your kit.

Thank you moderator for your reply. One question though, how's the quality of these HID? Trying to be open minded but I'm not all that fond of product from China, they just don't last very long. Does anyone you know have these HID installed in their cars and have trouble free operation with them for a few years? How about German made HID kits? I know they may be more expensive but German products seem to last a long time, like Audis! Any other thoughts or suggestions? Not try to be a snob here, just want some good quality products! Thanks all!

People in the A4 forum have been running them for years with no problems. Believe it or not the quality is very good even knowing its from china. I installed a set for a members 96 A4 and i was surprised at the quality, i actually installed a set from E-bay that was much worse in build quality than the VVME kit.
German made kits are always gonna be the creme de la creme of just about anything but you will pay for it...

Thank you Auditech79 for the insights. Now, the Euro H4 is a conventional lens with no projector lights, do I need to concern about the difference between D2R and D2S type HID bulbs? Does VVME give you a choice between the 2 types? What should I get? D2R or D2S? Thanks for your help!:

Without the projector lens the HID isn't going to be as dramatic unfortunately, as for the D2R or D2S, thats something you would have to ask them. I can't see why it would be any different, they do have the two types available so just give them a ring before ordering.
