This is my first post and hopefully someone will be able to assist.

Had a problem the 2002 audi a4 1.9 tdi, when it was pushing out soot from the exhaust, to remedy this I have replaced the air filter and the MAF, the car is now running a lot better, however, theres always an however, there is no power the car seems to be lacking the turbo, I have found that the pulsation damper is damaged and ordered a replacement today, does anyone know if when I have replaced the pulsation damper the turbo will start to function correctly.
