For the Love of God people
Here's the scoop. It's considered a collision claim, so not only would the rates go up, but they could drop me. No tickets, no collision claims, ever, and only two winshield (comprehensive) claims back in Michigan. That was a different carrier all together. What a scam, I think I'm in the wrong business folks. I'm calling around Monday and getting the hell out of the company I'm with now.
I HIGHLY doubt they would drop you. I though insurers only drop you if you have 5 speeding tickets, 3 collisions, and a vehicular homicide. But seriously, that's a fairly clean record.
Hmmm, Allstate has a horrible reputation here. There was a really bad series of storms several years ago just north of Indy and they refused to pay on about 100 claims. I wanted to get Cincinato Insurance, also expensive, but they really take care of you if you have a claim.
