Default Mavis can't maintain tire pressure.

So I bought a set of Bridgstone's at Mavis Tire (East Coast chain) because they matched the price of online vendors and they install for next to nothing. This was 14 months ago. One tire has a slow leak. I went to Mavis to have it patched, as the tires are still under warranty. They couldn't detect a hole, but because the wheel was oxidized a bit, they cleaned it up so as to have it mate better with the tire to maintain pressure.

Well, that really didn't help. The wheels aren't rusting at all on this M.Y. 2000 car, and I feel they didn't look hard enough. I just would rather not have to wait another 1-2 hours there all over again. Has anyone owned a car with a wheel that couldn't mate properly with a tire to maintain pressure? I just have never heard of that before, but then again, it sounds plausible.

Have they considered replacing teh valve-stemsand/or valves? Only time I had a problem with this was with a bent wheel-rim. But, they'd've noticed sometjhing like that, pretty easily.

I'll probably just go back and demand they fix this. Thanks for the tip.
