Default MIL

Just got a 2002 TT with 65K on Monday. I almost ran out of fuel when I stopped to fill it. I did use high-octane. Today the MIL light came on and won't shut off. I did check the gas cap to make sure it was tight. The Chrysler dealer where I bought it doesn't know *$%& about Audi's and after 48hrs. is considering it my problem. Is this an issue? How do you get it off?

running low on fuel can put the MIL/CEL on and requires a diagnostic tool to check and erase it

Done. Autozone did it for free. Offered them beer but they wouldn't take it! Either way, it worked. Thanks again.
