and Ive been given different answers, so lets hope someone on here can help

It wont start, but when it does it drive great. About a week ago after driving for about 20 mins I parked it, then about 10 mins later it wouldnt start.
It would turn over but wouldnt catch. I unpluged the battery for a few mins and it fired up. Everything was fine up until today, the same thing happened. It will turn over but wont start, after about 10 trys it would go sometimes. When it fires up the cars great, its just getting it to start.

My initial response would be your ignition coils. The only reason why I say that it that VW/Audi is widely known for their ignition coil problems. Generally speaking, your check engine light SHOULD turn on with some misfire codes due to the coils inability to produce spark. This exact situation happened on a 1999 A4 I used to own. It could be a bunch of things though to be honest. I do not know the repair history or maintenance of your car. It could be a clogged fuel filter, bad mass air flow sensor, bad fuel pump, clogged/faultly/bad injectors, vacuum leak (possible but not likely), running too rich/too lean, etc.
