you'll hafta take it to the stealership and have them pull it off the airwaves for you... Cost me, like $75.00, her in DC. Shoud be less in Alabama

Similar situation for me... I was wondering if the code is diffferent for each VIN? Or, groups of VIN's? I'm really against paying the dealership squat, since I bought the car new & they simply never wrote it in the manual. The dealership I purcahsed my car from, back in '02 is closed, so I can't go that route. I don't know... I just hate the idea of paying any amount of money when they made the mistake of not writing it in to begin with. It's pure principle of the matter.

There has to be another way... Anyone?

That's funny... I didn't notice the first time around that you said "stealership". I used to work at one of those years ago & so I know it's a true statement. That's hysterical!

Yeah, that's pretty much how we refer to them, here and on most other Auto forums; and a statement about how we FEEL about them, too

Stealership in Scottsdale cost me 120.00! Total rip off.

I cannot stress the use of the SEARCH function enough though.

try holding the mode button and hitting the power button, it sometimes resets the radio causing no code to be entered
