Mysterious 3rd switch on Drivers Door

Mysterious 3rd switch on Drivers Door
I have a 2004 A4 Cabrio with a mysterious unmarked switch on the drivers door. It is located below the trunk release and the tilt switch. Does anyone have a clue what this does, or is it the only option on my car that I don't have?
