(Moving from B6 A4)

Hi All, new to this forum.

2002 A4 1.8T Quattro

Can you help me identify this? Found it underneath a custom subwoofer box in the spare tire well. I will be replacing the spare tire and tool set and need to figure out what to do with this object.

An answer that has come up in the other thread is that it is the evap canister for the fuel tank. If this is the case, what is the stock location for that part?

Found the answer... this is the evap canister which usually sits just forward of where it is now, in a metal dimple that the spare tire sits on (removed).
