Default Need help with a o2 sensor change

Hi there I have a 2004 Audi A4 V6 Automatic Quattro and just recently the front passager O2 sensor went out. I called Audi and they want $900 for the repairs and another $250 for testing. Myself as well as a few friends have some knowledge on cars but the O2 sensor on an Audi has never came up until now and I would like to swap all the O2 sensors instead of just the one. I was wondering if anyone had a guide or perhaps a link they could send my way I would really appreciate it. Take care and thanks in advance for your help.

It is a GIANT PITA, especially the pre-cat sensors. I saw a DIY around at one point where the guy was using about six (really) extensions on his ratchet so he could get the passenger side sensor from above the driver's side fender... Couple of custom bent tools....

I will look around and see if I can find the link again. meantime, commenting so that I can keep track of this thread because mine need to be done here before too long.

good luck

I appreciate it, I heard that it really isn't all that hard though I may be wrong but I mean for around a $1200 set back I would rather let it sit in the garage while I get the tools and get it done myself you know what I mean it's kind of ridiculous I think. I will also add any info I receive to this post thanks.
