Hi,

I am a new Audi owner and need some advice.. My check engine light is on and coming after resetting after changing fuel cap also. Tried searching online posts but not much information or results for the fixes. Previously I had Honda Accord so don't have much technical experience also. Bought an Audi few weeks back and took to my mechanic (my friend). After inspection he said tie rods needs to be changed and transmission flush is needed (it was black inspite of Audi transmission is lifetime as clamied by Audi).

After this service I picked my car and drove around 30Miles and Check engine light came, went to autozone and my mechanic and found error code is P1136. My mechanic said he couldn't find any issues and asked me to take second opinion at dealer. But I wanted to ask for some ideas and what could be the issue. Had this car for few weeks and CEL is ON which is making me to think if I made a good choice. Please guide me.

I took the car to a different mechanic and he found code p0441 and p0455.

He check and found a lose hose near evap system and said he fixed it. Now after driving everything seemed fine till today. Now when I am going in parking lot which is inclined like uphill(not too much inclined also) my CEL came on again.

Now when I recalled last 3 times it came at the same place and spot.. while going uphill.. I am taking to him again and will tell this.

Does it give any of you some clue what it could be? I don't want to be ripped off by mechanic as it happened to me once untill I found one trust worthy guy but he moved. (I took to a different mechanic he said O2 sensors all 4 to repalce but none of others said this, can it be rip-off or O2 sensors are bad.)

Any of you suggest me to go to dealer?
