Default Need help. Transmission not moving after install.

Hey guys I really need some wisdom here.

I'm very stressed out about my 2000 Audi A6 2.7t Auto...

I just got "done" with removing and re-installing the engine/trans and replacing blown turbos. Engine started and runs good. Problem is that the transmission won't engage in any movement of the wheels at all.

During the time that I had the engine/trans out, I separated the trans in order to replace the rear main seal. I drained some the dirty fluid out of the torque converter and didn't refill any fluid before re-installing. Not sure if this was a big mistake or not.

I think I've also seen someone mention damaging the front pump on the transmission while mating the trans and engine back together. Really hoping not to have to remove it all again a re-do.

After re-installing everything, I filled the trans fluid using the proper procedure and now I am getting P0730 and P0734 codes. Would these codes directly result in the trans not engaging in any gear? Or is the torque converter not filling? It didn't seem to want to take anymore than about 6 liters, which I kno is the normal amount for doing a filter change....but I lost some trans fluid in draining the torque converter and also some out of the coiling passages in the radiator as well. So it should have taken more.

Is there a VCDS diagnostic procedure for the trans I can run? Is there a way to "prime" or fill the torque converter or bleed the cooling lines? Could the front pump be damaged due to incorrect alignment during trans/engine mating?

Please, any help is incredibly appreciated.

Thanks

Default Just a thought

If the torque converter is not able to "self-prime" or get a suction started to fill it...do you think it might be possible to force feed it through one of the trans cooler lines on the radiator? Like hook up a pump to one of them and pump fluid into it? I'm not sure where those lines primarily end up inside the trans...I'm just looking for any possibility that doesn't involve re-doing all that work.
