Default New A4, NEED HELP might have to return it!

Good evening everyone! I have just purchased a 2002 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro. Gorgeous car! Has a TON of options! It's just perfect! Has everything I want!! BUT I was checking it out in the engine compartment, and I found oil located on the block on the drivers side next to the oil filter. It concerns me because it's still wet oil. Today (2nd day) the oil is still there. I am wondering if anyone has had a problem like this, or if I should assume that the previous owner has left me with some big engine problems.

Let me know if you can help!

This could be oil that drained during the last oil change.
If you see oil under the car for about a week after an
oil change , it's normal. Check the dipstick.

Leftover oil from an oil chane in that area can look like an oil leak. Get some brake clean and spray it down anc clean it really good. Then recheck for leaks.
