Default Newb saying hi!

I'm new here. Just saying Hi and asking a few questions.

I'm looking into an'05 or '06 A4 2.0T quattro manual with S-line package. I'm coming from an 03 Evo VIII. Which is currently making just over 300hp at the wheels on a dyno jet. I'm the kind of guy where the first thing I do with a new car is get rid of that pesky warranty. I'm yet to drive the A4 so, I'm not sure I'm ready to give up the neck snapping acceleration of my beloved Evo just yet. I'm willing to trade a certain amount of performance for the increased civility and luxury of the A4. So, here are my newb questions. Feel free to flame me and tell me to "search" but, I would prefer answers and links.

1. How much aftermarket support is there for the new 2.0T? I've been looking around most of the afternoon and basicly all I've found is APR's reflash (which looks quite promising) and a couple of exhausts.

2. What will it take to get a 0-60 time of around 5.0 to 5.5 seconds out of the A4?

3. Is there any marked improvement from '05 to '06 or any chronic TSB, recalls or, general issues to be wary of?

4. I'm assuming the numbers I've seen (stock:@200hp, APR: @250) as far as power claims are at the flywheel correct? What is the general drivetrain loss for quattro? My Evo was rated at 270 from the factory and put down around 210 on the local AWD dyno. I'm assuming losses would be similar.

Mods,If this needs to be in the A4 forum feel free to move it.

Thanks,
Kyle

Thank you, Amanda.

I did find a thread of links to Audi tuners on here. It doesn't seem like there is very aftermarket support (compared to what I'm used to) for B7 yet.

Well, you've pretty much found what they have right now. I understand that a turbo upgrade is in the works and will be producing upwards of 350hp. as for the 05 to 06 issues, this is a brand new car and alot of things have changed.
