Hey I did a quick search and found out a little bit...HOWEVER..

I got my car chipped and a boost gauge installed at AWE..

I noticed that my car produces very little boost in 1st (if I am lucky it will get out of vacuum)..The car has tons of power though and has a lot of torque. Second gear I am getting about 14-15 lbs of boost and so on and so forth...I figured I'd be getting more boost with a giac chip..therefore I assume I have a boost leak?

errr nevermind I was just being an idiot..I guess my 1st gear boost doesn't really hit unless I get on it. anyways I love this car even more now.
