I have a 98 A4 turbo. For a few weeks now my car has no power--No boost--My blow off valve is not making any noise at all. The other day I took a Hard right turn and all of a sudden POWER--for about 2 min. I put a new blowoff valve on thinking it was that...Still nothing.. I have to floor it to get my car going--Imagine how much gas im using. I heard that it might be a sensor on the turbo that the turbo is reading full boost? Can anyone Help

 

That happend to our shop S4 a few weeks ago. You might want to check your n75 valve. In our case it was unfortunately the turbo it's self that went dead.

 

i have recently had this same problem. but my check engine light came on. i was wondering if u figured out the problem, was it that sensor on the turbo and if so do u know the resistense or voltage output specs so that i can test mine. thanks

Take the BOV out, you are running your engine rich. And if you decide that you want to keep it in and bitch about your car not working properly, you probably won't get much sympathy.

 

Sounds like a sticking n75 or a sticking wastegate.
