no boost!!!! please help!!
so yesterday i put my 02 a4 1.8t front drive on the dyno. everything worked great on my way home, i suddenly couldn't get any boost pressure above like 3 psi. the wastegate actuator seems to move ok, boost controller is ok, dv is ok, no leaks, no shaft play in the turbo, no smoking, everything seems to be fine but intermittantly i'll get 10 psi for a second then it'll drop to like 3 psi like the wastegate opened abruptly. i'm thinkin i blew the turbo, but i'm not sure. Can anyone help please!!!! the car has 3 in turbo back exhaust, fmic, apr stage 1+ 93 octane, forge 007 dv, also on the dyno i ran a/f ratios of 13.5:1 at 17.2 psi of boost. this is extremely lean should i take it back to where i had the apr done???? i was very disappointed to only put down 168.8 hp and 207.9 tq. that is terrible for what i have done to the car, but itis so lean it is pulling the timing to save the motor. I think there is something wrong with the apr program, that is just flashed there shouldn't beany other tuning.

RE: no boost!!!! please help!!
well, from my past experience with vw's and maybe they fixed it, when you fun a car on the dyn they get a code that can only be cleared at the dealership.... but maybe vag can too
also you are running 3 in on a ko3?
i thought that was way too big and would not give you the back preasure needed for the little turbo, maybe some can elaborate or tell him how stupid i am

RE: no boost!!!! please help!!
Are you getting a CEL? I just got over a similar problem where one part of a drive I would have the boost and then it would just quit. I have a stock setup that runs 10psi but would drop to 5psi for no apparent reason. I did have a CEL, put it on VAG-COM and it turned out that my MAF sensor was bad. Had that replaced and everything is back to normal. Not sure if this is your case however this is my 2 cents.
