So I am having this same problem, did changing the amp fix this problem?

 

I have a 2004 A4 3.0Q with an aftermarket HU. All the speakers in the car seem to be working fine except the driver side one. However, I can hear static in it so I am not sure if it's just a wiring problem or if it is blown. I have only owned the car for about a month so not knowing much about it yet I was looking to see if anyone has had a problem like this before, thanks.
