hi i own a 1996 audi a4 2.8 v6 12v and i know i have to replace my oil sealers on my pan cause thats the only place i have any leak of oil but for the last month ill drive my car normal and my temp goes to about 210 on my gauge and then say i would stop for gas fill up then start the car again. well right after i start and when im in first not even past 2g in rpm taking off already oil light flashes on 4 times then pauses for 4 seconds then goes off and my mechanic says it is prolly oil sensors and i forgot the other thing but what could this be never happened before ? he said it takes to long to test everything and no code pops up for it? any suggestions

 

do you have and stored codes. also is the oil level correct. your mechanic might be right about the oil pressure sensor, but it may also be coming on due to low oil pressure or some other lubrication problem.

 

the oil level is fine i checked it actually i changed it like 700 miles ago and it popped on before that but what would cause low oil pressure
