Oil light Problems
Hi guys i'm having a problem with my oil light coming on and i cant figure it out. Ill give you some background first.
I have a 98 audi a4 2.8 QM and if i go out in the morning and after letting it warm up i pull out and here is where the problem is. When i turn left, get on the brakes hard, or go up a real steep incline my oil light will come on.
I checked the oil level and it is fine i'm also running Mobile 1 high milage synthetic. I have no idea what it could be. All i'm thinking right now is that a sensor could have went bad or something because it didn't start doing it until about 200 miles ago.
Any help would be awesome

Sludge/Pickup tube/Cam Tensioner
There is a common problem with Audi models of your vintage. Sludge builds in the engine from oil changes that are too infrequent. In fact, a lawsuit caused Audi to repair engines for free that suffer from this common occurrence. The pickup tube in the oil pan gets clogged, causing not enought oil pressure(oil pressure light!) to properly push the cam tensioner. Eventually, you will hear clanging sounds, like a diesel, coming from the rear of your engine.
I'm not saying this is your issue but it is common in many Audi models.
If this the problem, use an online sludge fighting product call "AutoRX". Google it. After you use the product, replace the clogged pickup tube in your oil pan and hope this eliminates your "oil pressure light" problem. Good luck.
