I have a 2010 A5 2.0T that was purchased new last August. The 5k service was done and the oil was again changed at 10k....was planning on changing oil every 5k instead of recommended 10k per service manual. At around 14k the low oil low indicator light came on and my wife brought it to the dealership right away. The car was down a quart. Service manager said this was normal for this engine!? This is my 8th Audi, three of them being A4's with 1.8T engines and I never had a problem with oil consumption. The 02 TT with a 1.8T does not use any oil between changes. Does anybody have any insight to this matter?
