Overheating?
Not sure if I'm being paranoid or not. I have a 03 a4 1.8t. The temp needle stays straight up in the middle, but I'm riding around with a code scanner with live data showing to temps getting to 221F to 224F before the thermostat opens.
To recap though I've thrown a butt load of money trying to get it to operate at 212F (what I presume is normal).
I replaced the tb, water pump and thermostat 3 months ago. But after replacing the coolant flange last month my issue began. So I replaced the thermostat again. Took the water pump back out and confirmed its good (metal impeller). Flushed coolant and bleed air out. Took head off and had it resurfaced (it was warped). And now replaced the radiator and did another coolant flush.
I'm still getting temps operating above normal!
Thoughts? Opinions?
