Default Paging AudiA4Driver - lower fog mod

hey you wanted to know about the lower fog mod, and I have some free time...

How complicated the job is depends on how much functionality you want. I decided I did not only want lower fogs, but I wanted to use the existing switches AND I wanted them to be independant of my headlights.

First I forged a couple mounting brackets that would hold the lights to the bumper, cut the holes in the lower grills, and mounted everything.

Then I wired it up using all new wire - leaving my integrated headlights alone. I just cut the old wires at the dash switch. I powered everything from the x75 power post under the knee bolser on the driver's side.

For the independant fog mod I had to do some funky cutting and splicing of wires (and altering a relay) in the dash, but it was not too difficult if you have instruction. It all works pretty good and I am pleased.

I had a link to some instructions on how to do all this - I could probably find it again if you were interested.

cheers
