playing DVD movies on audi MMI?

anyone know if you can watch DVD movieson the audi nav system?

Yup, you need a DVD player & a interface for the MMI.

the nav is DVD-based, but won't read movie DVDs. any way to override this?

It's NOT a DVD movie player, it can not play movies, you need another source to play them.

Yeah ther germans made it so we couldn't play DVD's [:@]There isn't a way to over ride it as far as i know.
