I am sooo stuck. Any suggestions - I'd really appreciate!

'91 100 - runs hot sometimes and the water light comes on, but coolant level is fine. Oil is fine. Battery is fine. The car just wouldn't start last night. Tried to jump start - but no go.Lights come on - no clicking - just nothing!!! Doesn't even try to start!

I have put so much $ into this car in the last few years - can't afford not to fix it, but I don't even know where to start. Thanks.

 

Could be the starter selenoid.

 

would this be an expensive problem?
I thought the starters never went in these cars!

Does the dash light up when you turn the key?

 

Yes everything comes on, windows work....
