Default Power Steering

Just replaced the pump and now it is hard to turn the wheel when sitting still. If the rpm's are up above 1000 it is not tough to turn. No noises anymore(reason i replaced it) but tough to turn. any insight would help. thanks

jack the front wheels off the ground, remove the power steering filler cap, run engine the turn steering hard left then right "have someone look in the reservoir and keep a check all air has been bled out" that's how you bleed the power steering
