I know there are tons of entries regarding programming keys, however, I cannot find any discussing problems with problems with presets. Having gone through the manual instructions time and again, the remote key continues to move the seats, mirrors, etc. to positions set prior to my purchasing the car. I have 1998 A8 Quattro.


Any one have ides?

 

Try setting the seats and storing them to a different position using the memory switch. I suspect the memory switch is faulty and not allowing you to set the seats to a new position.
