Default Question about Bentley Manual

Would like to hear from someone who has a Bentley Manual for Audi regarding what it covers and if it is worth purchasing one.
I read a review on line today that stated the book only covers minor things but does not cover how to do actual repairs.
Can someone who has one please give me your opinion on the book and what it covers as I need some sort of repair manual for my 2000 A-6.
Thank you in advance
Kurt

The Bentley manuals are really the only ones that SHOW you the repair processes. However, some of the newer models may be different. IIRC, Audi repair shops use the Bentley manuals. I have the Bentley manuals for the 85-88 Audi 5000's and they cover EVERYTHING about repairs on those cars.

The Haynes manuals on some of these cars is a bit, shall we say "brief" though.

Thank you Dave
That is exactly the type of information I was seeking.
I will purchase the Bentley manual as I want to do some work on my wife's old Audi now that she has a new Audi and I get one more toy to add to the collection.

I'll second Dave's review, my a4 manual covers everything; it's very thorough.
