'03, A6, 4.2. whining noise when I tap on PCV it stop. I know this has been replaced before on this car but don't recall cost (parts and labor). Any ideas?

 

$150 bucks from Audi parts. Labor, 1/2 hour at most.

I have one here, just checked the shelf. I can usps it out for 6.00 priority mail, or UPS ground for 10.00 dollars with a tracking number, 3-5 days out depending on your location. It can leave here today by UPS, tomorrow by USPS.
