well if you get pulled over you'll get a ticket for having the radar detector. i work for the sheriff's office in my area and radar detectors are illegal. i never knew that until a few weeks ago(i'm new there)

I think someones lying to you or doesn't know what they're talking about. First off, your profile says you're from Florida and his New York.. second, unless laws have changed in florida very recently, it's legal to have a radar detector in 49 of 50 states. the only places that it's illegal are virginia, washington d.c. and military bases. it's legal to have laser jammers in 40 of 50 states..

Anyway, I recommand going with a v1. they aren't huge at all in my opinion. bigger than a passport, but not by much. then again, i'm not sure what your definition of huge is.

strange. i'll have to look into that when I'm bored.

your first scentence just didn't sit well with me.. as far as I know he's not from florida so I don't see how that has anything to do with the thread.

You have a passport and in warmer weather area's they tend to get the *Self Cal 3* or *Service Required* messege meaning they need to be sent in the Escort to fixed or retuned. Also since you live in florida they are trying to ban radar detectors and laser jammers. I have a V1 and *Parking Sensor for jamming police laser*.
