radiator fan stays on

radiator fan stays on
I have an A6 2.7t quattro tip, 98k, recently I have noticed the electric radiator fan,and AC fan will stay on after the engine is shut off, and remains on for about 10 minutes, even at 28F outside temperatures, any suggestions, or is this normal
