radio safe mode

Hey guys , I just got a 98 a4 2.8 and the battery musta been replaced because the radio is in safe mode. How do i get it out of this mode i dont have the radio code. any help?

Hey, I had the same problem. look in your manual.. there is a code that you have to enter to get your radio working again. it is on its anti theft mode.
