Since I am new to this whole 4 wheels concept and an Audi owner, this would be the best place to get the answers to my question.

I own a 2008 A3 Attraction (2 door sportback), and I am not happy with the stock speakers sound quality and thinking about replacing them, my car has only the front speaker and no rear speakers. The car came equipped as such and i cannot add the rear speakers without replacing the Audi Chorus head unit.

I have been advised by the car audio store here to upgrade the speakers with MB Quart component speakers for the front and not to go for a 3 way or 4 way speakers as it is not going to be effective.

This is where am looking for an advise, any idea how much would be the difference in the sound quality if replace the stock component speaker with an after market speakers (MB Quart if anyone heard of it).

What I am missing in the sound is that bass, low frequency grunt. I do not want to add a sub yet therefore how sensible is the above idea.
