My car is hessitating during acceleration or sometimes when i am maintaing constant speed. This normally happens under 3K rpms in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd gear. The power loss is accompanied with a sort of grinding noise (like the sound ABS brakes make) and a ringing noise like shaking a spring.

You need to provide alot more info. Like year, model etc.

I had the same problem kinda (no noise). I had a ripped throatle body hose (boost was escaping so the computer was limiting me)... If you just replaced your DV, then maybe one of the hoses got disconected (vacum or boost). If you provide more info. these guys will help.... Good luck! I'm just a noobie too.....
