Hey again forumers!
I'm wondering if anyone has the same problem I'm having.
Every morning when I start heading out of the house, I would hear rattling sound coming from the right side of the dashboard (I have a B5 A4).
Everytime I try to investigate the problem, the noise would stop.
This makes it hard for me to attend and fix the problem since it rattles only when the car is moving.
Has anyone ever had this problem?
Also, it only seems to rattle in the morning (I guess when the engine/car is cold?).
I hope someone can help me.

I got the same issue and it just recently started. how long have you had the problem ?

 

i think the heater stuff is over there

 

Turn the heater off and listen. Could be something loose in the glove box.

 

I've had the problem for about a month now.
I think the sound is not coming from the dashboard but from the engine.
I tried shutting off the car and the sound dissappeared with the flow of the engine.
I also don't think it's the heater since I never really used the heater (I never really needed the heater in California.)
Does anyone know something that could be loose on the front right side?
