Stalling when braking or at stop light
Hi to all!
I'm a new member in this forum and any help is really apreciated.
I have a 1999 A6 2.8 Quattro, the problem started when my car stalled when braking or at a stoplight, at first I could started right away and move on but after the 3rd time it would not start right away, it could take from 15min to up to an hour before it could start again.
Check all the fluids and oil, antifreeze are ok, temp gauges work fine, got the battery, alternator and started tested and they check out ok, so I read that it could be the throttle. Today Sat 2/1/14, I clean the throttle with a throttle cleaner, I cleaned the MAF sensor put everything back and everything when fine, went out to test drive notice that when I hit a stoplight or stated braking, the RPM's dropped to 250 to 350 and when I got back home it stalled againg just like before. engine turns and everything but won't run. Any ideas or something that i'm missing?? Hope someone can help me out
