Default Steering Problems

Hi All,

I'm new on here but by way of introduction I have a 2007 Audi TT 2.0 FSI Cabriolet.

I have a technical question that I was hoping someone would be able to help with.

My steering seems to be off. When I turn left it feels ok but turning right requires more effort and feels like I'm turning against a spring. I did go over a rather violent bump recently in the Lakes and wonder if I could have knocked something... but if I had damaged the suspension wouldn't wouldn;t it affect both left and right steering.

Could tyre pressures/steering fluid alone do this. The car was last serviced 6 months ago when I bought it so I doubt it.

All thoughts gratefully recevied... thanks in advance.

Camber or caster might be off Spec. on one side.
Get an alignment.
