Default Suspension for 2003 A4 Cabrio

I have a 2003 Cabrio with the 3.0 FWD.

I need to replace my suspension and don't know if my car uses shocks or struts shocks up front and struts in back, etc. I have been online to a couple different part stores and some list shocks as the parts needed, and some list struts. Which I have to say has left me very confused.

I am looking to sell the car next summer, around June, so I am thinking of going cheap on shocks or whatever. and am considering Monroe or KYB. I'm leaning toward KYB. I like Bilstein, but KYB and Monroe are like 1/4 the price. and for 6 months... It has to be better than the worn out shocks I have with 141k miles on them.

Any input on which I use shocks or struts is greatly appreciated. thanks in advance!
