Hi

I have a -01 A6 with a wierd problem. The battery had drained this morning forcing me to jumpstart it. After it started I had to reset the time / date, not wierd since it was out of power.

The wierd thing is that the temp display is dark. If I push the left button in the dash it says how many km there are left before next service, as it should. When the display lights up to show the info I can VERY briefly see the temp display. It seems that the backlight turns off for no reason. If I push the button twice the "test sequence" cycles through all the error-symbols in the same display, therefore I now that the display and the backlilght is working.

Anybody know how to correct this?
