Throttle body dirty

Default Throttle body dirty

hi, i decided to inspect my throttle boday and i realized it's filled with some oil like guk. very sticky. What can i use to clean it. What's the best way? can i scrap the whole intake and spray a solvent (what brand of solvent)??

Your best bet is to remove the TB completely, so nothing can dislodge and get into engine.
Use TB cleaner and old tooth brush. Scrub away. Get a new gasket if applicable and put TB back.

Yeah you can buy throttle body cleaner at auto parts stores.

or you can use carburetor cleaner
