ok as posted before me and my room mate bought a 5000 CS quattro for $500.00 and we have been working on it and while driving if you get on it and the boost gage gets to 1.6 bar @ 4000 rpm the turbo/motor shuts down for split second then gets with it again.(red line 6500). now in the owners manuel it says to subtract 0.9 bar so its actually .7 bar = 10 PSI. so i guess my question is what is turning off the turbo/engine ? wastgate, ecu, some sort of regulator killing fuel to the motor? anything would help
also why would the boost get so high? i
