Hi everyone I'm new too the site and as of tomorrow a new owner of an 01 s4. One of the turbos has an internal leak. I'm new to audis and it will be my first turbo car. I was wondering if the turbo is rebuilable or if its done for. Trying to avoid buying new turbos. All info. is appreciatted thanks.

 

almost all turbos are rebuildable, if you DIy the kit usually comes with all the new seals and bearings. if not oyu can send it gpopshop which is what alot of guys here use to rebuild their turbos. or if oyu want you can upgrade to K04 turbos which are like the stock K03s but are cabale of more boost.

 

I do plan on doing it myself but I just wanted to make sure that would definetly be rebuildable. I would really like to go with k04 but cant really afford 2g right now. Thanks for the info!!
