my friend has an 08 A4 and wants me to replace the rear brake pads valve cover gasket and the vacuum pump.

i am not to worried about the pads or valve cover there pretty much self explanatory. but does anyone have a diy or instructions on the vacuum pump? would i need and special tools?

Make sure your freind does not have a electronic e-brake. If so a scan tool will be needed to deactivate & retract them.
As far as the vacuum pump , not to hard if it's the 2.0 , not sure about the v6 though.
