I just brought my car into my mechanic due to a scraping noise coming from my 2002 a4. It seems to happen when I turn right and accelerate in low gears at low speeds. Mechanic seems to think its the outer plunge joint. He took everything apart and only conclusion he could come to.

Anyone have any ideas as to what else it could be????
