Default what is this button?

I dont have a manual and I really wouldn't know what to search, im curious to what this button is on my 1999 audi a4 1.8t.

It is located to the right of my seat against the door but not on it and under the seat belt if it were to pull back up into the side, the button shows a lil car with what looks like a radar symbol or something in it.

What is this button?

It turns the sensors inside the car on and off for the alarm. If you have someone in the car or something in the car that is moving and the sensors are turned on, the alarm will go off.

Yep good when you want to flat bed your audi and lock the car at the same time.
