Default what to do after 5 months storage?

I stored my A3 1.8 for 5 months. It had a full service before storage. What should I do before starting it?

Many thanks

Check/ top up all fluids, charge battery. If it had proper service (for storage) I would just start it, but stay off the gas pedal for at least the first minute. Hopefully the "full service" included a fuel stabilizer, if not, fill it up with the highest octane you can get.

Default Did you do anything special?

In storing the Audi for a long period of time, was there a concern about rodents getting at the wiring? Did you leave the windows closed? any other advice? I plan on leaving the car in Florida from May thru Dec with a cover on it.

Suggestions?

Ethanol gas is the WORST is you let it sit. If you didn't put a stabilizer in it, I'd drain that crap and put fresh in it before I started it.
